20 perspectives on monuments protection

The publication "20 years with monuments protection" maps the period of twenty years of activity of the Žilina Regional Monuments Office (2002 – 2022). The collective of authors - Žilina preservationists - tries to bring their work closer to the public and show the beauty and complexity of the entire monument discipline. The book is divided into 20 chapters that deal with a specific type of national cultural monuments and their restoration - castles, castle ruins, churches and monasteries, synagogues, calvaries and small sacral architecture, mansions and mansions, historical parks and gardens, folk architecture, technical monuments ... A special space is dedicated to archaeological, architectural and artistic finds and restoration, and finally to defunct and newly registered monuments.
